I spent some time today visiting local polling stations to capture some of the election action close to home. Along the way I bumped into the Labour representative for my area and mistook him for another party – whoops! There was a steady flow of people and the great weather helped the turn out I should imagine. I then did some more sketches when I cast my vote later this evening. We will see what tomorrow brings, either way I look forward to not having election campaign news on TV anymore!

Record Store Day at Soundclash, Norwich
Being a fan of vinyl and 6 music I was well aware of record store day this year, and I wanted to try and capture the excitement. So I headed down to Soundclash in Norwich, where there were people queuing from around 2:30am. The queue was rather impressive at 9am when I drew the below. Once inside the remaining rare specially released albums and singles were being snapped up. Great atmosphere and I chatted to some happy vinyl fans, roll on next year! And that was Christmas
The tree is all packed up and decorations down... bring on 2015 and the adventures that await. Here is a few sketches I did in-between eating!
A proper cup of coffee...
Had a really nice cup of coffee earlier today at The Little Red Roaster in Norwich. This place has a good reputation and thought I would give it a go, wasn't disappointed :-)
Cluttering up Christmas
Had a really good day yesterday at Clutter City. It was my first foray into this sort of thing and I wasn't sure what to expect – but I really enjoyed it! Great to meet people (some old faces and new) and see their reactions to my work. I cover a wide range of subjects with my work so it was interesting to see what sold and what people were drawn to.
As it was a Christmas type of affair I produced some Christmas cards specially and I obviously had to wear a Christmas jumper – however under the glare of the stage lights it was far too warm! I was kept busy all day and had some much needed help from my other half Carlie – who kept me fed and watered.
All unsold work will be going up on my Etsy shop over the next few days - so look out for that! Thanks to all who came to see me – great to see some friendly faces and make some new connections. Here's some pics by @CarlieTempleman
