Come visit my stall at Clutter City, Saturday 6th December
I am proud to say that I have a stall at the upcoming Clutter City at Norwich Arts Centre. I will have a selection of postcards, greetings cards, original artworks and prints for sale. It will be my first event of this kind so would be great to see some friendly faces. Hope to see you there!
To paint or not to paint...
I'm working on a series of illustrations around Norwich at the moment to sell at the upcoming Clutter City event and am toying with watercolour or digital colouring, all based on line drawings done from life. Below is the train station, what do we think? I'm growing increasingly fond of not using a computer so am swaying to watercolour, which I use in my sketchbooks – but still like bold flat digital colour, oh the dilemma!
A trip down memory lane…
Went for a drive today back to where I grew up as I had to take my car for a check over in Hingham. After catching up with a few friends there I went through the little village I grew up in and then stopped in Attleborough – my old stomping ground whilst a teenager and into my 20s. Nice to be there again. Browsed a few charity shops, walked past familiar faces and paused for a bite to eat in a little cafe. Must visit again with more time, to capture some of the places I know so well – watch this space!

We've moved…
I am now once again a resident of Norwich, Norfolk. After 3 years of London life, we have returned home. Goodbye to packed tubes and expense, hello green fields and friendly faces. Here is our new house I drew whilst locked out one evening!
Last days with the Wildhorses...
A gift I drew for my last employers - Wildhorse Design in Muswell Hill, London. As drawn from my seat over several lunch breaks during my last week there mid July. It was the least I could do for such a great bunch of people who got me a lovely leaving present, will miss those guys!
I guess I'm heavier than I think…
We've had a few nice days recently and one afternoon I was in the garden enjoying the sun, whilst leaning to pick up a drink, my chair completely self destructed underneath me. I didn't fall over thankfully but I have now ruined 1 of our 2 garden chairs. I was so inspired by the mess I drew it with pen and ink and some watercolour. I will be sitting on the lawn from now on!
